Police Chief Seeks Termination For Officer In Overtime Probe

Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs says she will ask the safety director to fire a narcotics lieutenant who falsified overtime slips. 46-year-old Lieutenant Troy Casner is accused of falsifying overtime slips nine times in August and September. An internal-affairs investigation also found Casner guilty of going home and running an errand during two narcotics operations;failing to direct detectives five times during operations; and submitting one unnecessary overtime slip. He was placed on desk duty last February.
