Police Identify Second Suspect In South Linden Slayings

Columbus Division of Police

The Columbus teen who pleaded not guilty to juvenile murder and kidnapping charges in the fatal shootings of four people at an East Hudson Street home has been charged with an additional delinquency count of attempted murder. The Franklin County Prosecutor's office says a weapons violation charge was also added to the list of counts against 16-year-old Jordyn Wade. Police believe the slayings were drug-related. A hearing is scheduled August 26 to determine if Wade should be tried as an adult. Police say they are searching for a second suspect, identified as 27-year-old Robert Lee Adams Junior. Adams is facing a host of charges, including murder and aggravated robbery. Police say Wade acted as a lookout during the murders.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
