Police Identify Two Suspects In Slaying Of Innocent Bystander

Columbus Division of Police

Columbus police have issued arrest warrants for two people following a fatal argument Monday night on the West side. Police say 61-year-old innocent bystander Charles Mahon was shot and killed by a stray bullet on Springmont Avenue following an argument over 80-dollars. 20-year-old Alexa Curtis and 21-year-old Jalen Hall are charged in the case. Police say Curtis summoned Hall to punish the neighbors with whom she was arguing. Police stress that Mahon was not involved in the argument.
