Police Investigating Drug Overdose Deaths Of Two Local Toddlers

Columbus police have opened investigations into the May deaths of two toddlers who died of drug overdoses in separate incidents. The Franklin County Coroner says 11-month-old Dominic Dickinson and 14-month-old Annabella Sagstetter both died from heroin mixed with fentanyl. Officers responded to a call reporting Dickinson was not breathing. Sagsetter was a passenger in a car when someone reported the girl was not breathing. The coronor says autopsies and toxicology tests could not determine whether the deaths are accidental or homicides.
