Police: Marijuana Found In DuBose Vehicle

cincinnati.com

Cincinnati police investigators say marijuana was found in the car Samuel DuBose was driving when he was shot and killed by a now former University of Cincinnati police officer. A search warrant issued two days after DuBose died in July show four bags of marijuana were discovered inside the vehicle. Earlier this week, the Hamilton County Coroner ruled the bottle of alcohol that former UC cop Ray Tensing said Dubose was holding contained a fragrance. Tensing has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge. His attorney claims the drugs prove DuBose was trying to flee from Tensing. The Dubose family has said he was ill when Tensing pulled him over for lack of a front license plate.
