Police Protest Planned In Cincinnati Tonight

blacklivesmatter.org

Dozens of people will stage a demonstration tonight in downtown Cincinnati, protesting the Baltimore, Maryland police in-custody death of Freddy Gray. The group called Black Lives Matter says the event outside the Hamilton County Courthouse will call for the arrest of police officers involved in Gray's death. Ohio resident Dominique Stevenson with the American Friends Service Committee has been in the Baltimore area since last week, and witnessed the rioting. She says fears were running high after students heard rumors that white supremacists were going to attack – and then they saw police in riot gear.

Baltimore city officials say they plan to turn over the findings of a police investigation into Gray's death to the Maryland state attorney's office by the end of Friday.
