Possible Shigellosis Outbreak At Local Park

Pickaway County health officials are investigating a possible shigellosis outbreak at Deer Creek State Park. 13 people who visited the park's beach have reported being sickened from June 15 to July 17. Water tests are being conducted, and health officials have confirmed seven cases so far. Investigators do not know the source of the bacteria.
