Dayton city officials are preparing to mark the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords of 1995. A press conference will be held later today. Officials will discuss formation of a planning committee and a tentative schedule of events for next year. The late Richard Holbrooke was the U.S. diplomat who brokered talks at Wright-Patterson Air Force base that led to a Bosnian peace deal. The agreement is celebrated annually with the Dayton Literary Peace Prize awards, with a lifetime achievement award named for Holbrooke.
