A presidential task force gathering information on policing best practices and issues are hearing from law enforcement officials, community activists and others in two days of sessions at the University of Cincinnati.The discussions are being held today and Saturday. Topics include use of force, police interactions with demonstrators, diversity, technology and using social media. The Task Force on 21st Century Policing was formed in December in the wake of police use of fatal force cases in Ferguson, Missouri, Cleveland, Beavercreek and other cities. It will prepare a report for President Obama.
