Newark police say they have arrested the man accused of escaping from an Athens County probation center. Police say Chris Swonger was arrested yesterday driving a car he allegedly stole after escaping from the Southeast Ohio Probation Alternative Center over the weekend. Swonger is facing a probation violation and aggravated burglary charges.
