Prosecutor Drops Indictment Of Groundhog

Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser says he has dropped his light-hearted indictment against the famous Pennsylvania groundhog who fraudulently "predicted" an early spring. Gmoser says Punxsutawney Phil's handler is taking the blame. Gmoser last week issued an indictment as winter-like weather continued across much of the nation even as spring began. He says he wanted to end things on a positive note.
