Prosecutor Misses Deadline In Inman Appeal

An Ohio appeals court magistrate has ruled the Hocking County prosecutor will not be allowed to make oral arguments in the appeal of a Logan man convicted of murdering his estranged wife. The prosecutor missed a court deadline for filing a brief in the appeal of William Inman the Second. He is seeking a new trial after he was sentenced last year to life in prison for the slaying of 25-year-old Summer Inman. His father and mother also were convicted. The prosecutor attributes the missed deadline to an Ohio Attorney General's Office scheduling issue. But she says she is confident the written argument will be sufficient.
