Columbus city prosecutors have dropped a criminal charge against former Ohio State linebacker Andy Katzenmoyer. He was charged with violating a protection order in late March. Court documents show it involved Katzenmoyer's attempt to pick up his daughter from the home of his former wife on Trabue Road. Prosecutors say they lacked evidence to prove their case in court. The 35-year-old Katzenmoyer played for the Buckeyes from 1996 through 1998.
