Prosecutors Won't File Charges In Detention Of Emirati Man

yahoo.com

Lorain County prosecutors say no one will be charged in connection with the detention of an Emirati businessman held by police at gunpoint at an Avon hotel after a clerk raised suspicions of ties to terrorism.  Ahmed al-Menhali was dressed in traditional garments while at the hotel last June. Police received emergency calls from the clerk's family expressing fears he could have ties to the Islamic State group. He was arrested and later released after police determined he posed not threat. A grand jury declined to bring criminal charges.
