Public Service For Mallory Scheduled

A public memorial service is scheduled for December 22nd for former Ohio House majority leader William Mallory, who died Tuesday after a brief illness at the age of 82. Mallory was the state's first African-American House majority leader and longest-serving member in its history. The service will be held at the Cincinnati Museum Center. The funeral and burial will be private.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
