Queen City Purchase Ends Parking Lease Debate For Now

Council voted yesterday to spend 2 million dollars to buy new credit card and smart phone-accessible meters and retain control over enforcement. The purchase ends the controversial privatization of parking meters and garages, but keeps the city's options open for the future.
