There are new reports that raise questions about Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Ed FitzGerald’s political future.
Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles has details.
Various news outlets are reporting FitzGerald went 10 years without a valid Ohio driver’s license and was driving, by himself, during that time. Those same reports say he had keys to a government owned car. If he were driving alone, without a license, he would be breaking Ohio law. These allegations are coming just days after FitzGerald himself held a news conference to explain why he was in a car in a Cleveland suburb with a woman that he wasn’t married to back in 2012. Police had been called to check out that car, sitting in a parking lot, after a maintenance worker reported it as suspicious. The Cleveland Plain Dealer is also reporting that worker says he saw the pair climbing into the back seat of that parked vehicle.
