Realtors Release Exisiting Home Sales Figures For March

Existing home sale rose in central Ohio, the state and the nation last month. The Columbus Realtors trade association says nearly 22 hundred homes were sold in March, up nearly 48 percent from February. The group credits low inventory, low interest rates, and rising home prices. The Ohio Association of Realtors say existing home sales statewide were up 13.2 percent from March of last year. The National Association of Realtors says existing home sales rose last month by 6.1 percent from February to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.19 million. Average sale prices rose at the local, state and national levels.
