Removing Downtown Sewer Odors

Work is underway to eliminate sewer gas odors in downtown Columbus.Public utility crews are installing odor control devices at Neil Avenue and Vine Street and Short and Liberty Streets. Officials say large beds of lava rock and pine bark will be mixed with live bacteria to filter the odors out of the air.
