Report: Wexner Center Shooter Damaged More Than 30 Pieces Of Art

WCBE files

An Ohio State University police report says a former security guard damaged dozens of works of art at the Wexner Center for the Arts last November before taking his own life inside. Campus police released a preliminary report at the request of the Franklin County Coroner's Office. It says 63-year-old Dean Sturgis damaged more than 30 pieces of art by shooting them or spraying them with black paint just after the museum opened. The names of the damaged artworks and security procedural details were redacted. The report says security guards had radio problems, which the university says it's trying to address.
