Reynoldsburg School Board Race Now Decided

The Franklin County Board of Elections says today a recount has upheld the election night results in the race for a Reynoldsburg school board seat. Elections officials say Andrew Swope beat Ryan Brezezinski for the third of three seats that were on the November ballot. A recount was required under Ohio law because the two candidates were separated by less that a half percent of the vote. There were no changes in vote totals certified in the official election canvass completed last month. The totals include votes cast in precincts shared with Licking County. Joseph Begeny and Elaine Tornero won the other two seats.
