Reynoldsburg Schools Leader Says Contract Offer To Teachers Is Fair

WCBE Files

Reynoldsburg schools Superintendent Tina Thomas-Manning told reporters yesterday the contract offer made to the teachers union during talks on Sunday was fair and reflects the current economy. The offer would have raised salaries by 13-percent and capped class sizes. A union spokesperson says the offer was not fair and the district is unwilling to negotiate.  Teachers are in the eighth day of a strike today.
