The administrative investigation against Ross County Sheriff's Sergeant Brett McKnight has been halted after he resigned following his arrest. McKnight was pulled over while off-duty earlier this week and arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence. A lawsuit against the sheriff's office and McKnight will continue. McKnight was placed on administrative leave after the sheriff's office says he accidentally shot and killed a woman during a drug raid in 2013.
