Ross County, Other Authorities Looking For Links In Cases Of Missing Or Deceased Women

chillicothegazette.com

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender says deputies, Chillicothe police and local and state investigators are probing whether the cases of six women who have disappeared since May of 2014 are linked.

The body of Tiffany Sayre was found near a culvert along a creek bed in Highland County on Saturday. The death is being investigated as a homicide. It was found in the same general area as that of 30-year-old Tameka Lynch, who was found in May of last year. She died of a drug overdose.

28-year-old Charlotte Trego and 38-year-old Wanda Lemons are still missing. 38-year-old Timberly Claytor was found dead in late May. 20-year-old Shasta Himelrick was found dead in January. Her death was ruled a suicide, but her family is not so sure. Lavender is asking anyone with information in these cases to contact the Ross County Sheriff's office or Chillicothe police.
