Safer cigarettes

Columbus, OH – Ohio legislators have begun considering a proposal that would require the sale of safer cigarettes that stop burning when a smoker stops puffing on them. State Representative Jim Hughes is the sponsor of the measure. In an interview with statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen, Hughes says - the measure could mean fewer house fires, even when smokers fall asleep with cigarettes in their hands.
