Second Suspect Pleads Guilty in 2014 Eastland Mall Shooting

A Columbus teen will serve at least one year in youth prison for shooting two people at Eastland Mall last summer. Prosecutors say 17-year-old Isaiah King has pleaded guilty to delinquency counts of shooting two rival gang members. He has not been formally sentenced, but the one year is required because of gun specifications in the charges. Formal sentencing is scheduled for August 3rd. 19-year-old Homer Hill II was sentenced earlier this year to two years in prison.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
