Self-Proclaimed "Sovereign Citizen" Pleads Not Guilty

A Columbus man has pleaded not guilty to a host of charges yesterday, a day after explosive devices were found by Franklin County Sheriff's deputies inside of his Carolyn Avenue home while they were serving an eviction notice. Deputies went back to the home yesterday and found more apparent bombs, booby traps and anti-government writings by Mark Kulis, who claims he is not obligated to pay taxes or follow most laws. Kulis is being held without bond while deputies continue to investigate.
