Senators approve bill to change out-of-date regulations on telephone and telecommunication companies, but watchdogs worry about consumer protection.

Columbus, OH – Senators have approved a bill that had been hung up in debate for about five months. It would change old and antiquated regulations on telephone companies. Consumer groups say this bill is better than a previous version, but, as Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler reports, they're not ready to call it a good plan.
