Sentencing In Stang Case

A Brazilian landowner convicted of ordering the 2005 slaying of Dayton nun and Amazon rainforest defender Dorothy Stang was sentenced to 30 years in prison yesterday. Vitalmiro Bastos de Moura has been tried three times, but his attorneys appealed and the Brazilian Supreme Court annulled Moura's 2010 conviction, saying he wasn't given enough time to prepare his defense. Prosecutors say Moura and another rancher hired gunmen to kill Stang.
