The Ohio Historical Society says it's prepared to take legal action against individuals who vandalized the historic Serpent Mound.In September the society learned numerous small objects had been inserted into the mound, which was built by the state's original inhabitants between 800 and a thousand years ago. Society director Burt Logan says Adams County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the culprits.
