Service For Veterans Needing Legal Help

Feb 18, 2013

A call center to start this month in central Ohio will help low-income veterans and active military personnel and their families find free legal assistance.

The joint project of the Ohio/Military Veterans Legal Assistance Project and Capital University Law School will pair up those who are eligible with volunteer lawyers to represent them free of charge in noncriminal cases. Legal experts say the center is part of a growing effort across the U-S to meet the legal needs of those who have served their country.
