Services Pending For South Zanesville Mayor

South Zanesville Mayor Terry Guss died on Sunday after falling from the running board of a firetruck on Friday. The 71-year-old fell inside the fire station shortly after returning from a house fire. Guss was appointed mayor in April 2007, after his predecessor resigned. City Council President Jim Perdue will serve the remaining two years of Guss’ term.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
