Shawnee State Forest's management plan gets updated

Columbus, OH – At 63,000 acres, the Shawnee State Forest west of Portsmouth is the largest of Ohio's state forests and includes an 8,000 acre wildernesse area. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources recently completed an update of the wilderness area management plan. Fred Kight of member station WOUB in Athens reports.
