The Ross County Sheriff says a body recovered from the Scioto River on Friday matches the description of a missing pregnant woman. An autopsy will be performed Saturday. Investigators have been looking for 20-year-ol Shasta Himelrick. Surveillance video showed her walking into a Chillicothe gas station early December 26 in rural Richmond Dale. Later that morning, the vehicle she'd been driving was found abandoned near a bridge along the river. Blood and her possessions were found inside.
