Fairfield County Sheriff's deputies say a pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday was suspected in several area break-ins. 24-year-old Joshua Barnes was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday while walking in the road with another man near Lithopolis. The man walking with Barnes was arrested after the crash on charges of breaking and entering, theft and possession of criminal tools. Deputies say the two were friends.
