Snowden To Speak To OSU Students

wikipedia

Controversial former government contractor Edward Snowden is scheduled to speak to a group of Ohio State University students next month. The Ohio Union Student Activities Board says the November 30th video talk will be streamed live on the web, but is only open to students. Snowden, who released secret National Security Agency documents in 2013 and has taken asylum in Russia, is giving talks at three universities in the U.S. Organizers of the OSU event say the 33-year-old Snowden is giving a paid talk, with topics to include personal privacy and internet security.
