A grand jury has indicted 14 teens on adult charges related to their membership in a street and prison gang that terrorized fellow inmates and staff members at the Cuyahoga County juvenile detention center.
Assistant county prosecutor Duane Deskins says the 14 are among 43 alleged members of the "Heartless Felons" gang charged in June. 26 have pleaded guilty in juvenile court. Two are awaiting trial, and one is undergoing a mental competency evaluation. Deskins also says the gang is the largest in Ohio's adult prison system.
