Space Radio Stargazing Trip To Chile

Dec 20, 2017

Join Space Radio’s Dr. Paul Sutter for a stargazing experience like no other: an expedition to the Atacama Desert of Northern Chile, one of the driest places on Earth and home to some of the darkest skies you can experience.

You’ll spend six dark nights at the luxurious  Alto Atacama Lodge & Spa, nestled in the small town of San Pedro, Chile, December 7th-14th, 2018. During the day you'll go on tours and expeditions in this exotic corner of the Earth, exploring salt flats and lunar-like terrain.

And every night, take a virtual journey to the stars hosted by astrophysicist and WCBE Space Radio host Paul Sutter.

The Atacama experience benefits more than your mind.  A portion of all proceeds will go to support the station that furthers your knowledge of the stars through programs like Space Radio & the Amazing Science Emporium…that’s WCBE 90.5FM!
