An elderly Springfield man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for causing a crash that killed a teenage boy. Charles Heard pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and OVI charges. Prosecutors say Heard's blood-alcohol level tested at more than two times the legal limit when he struck 13-year-old Tyree King in June of this year.
