State Concludes Probe Of New Albany Priest Who Took His Own Life

Chicago Tribune

State authorities say a New Albany priest under investigation for exchanging inappropriate texts with a teenager and misuse of church funds left at least two suicide notes before killing himself last December in Chicago.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation's investigation says James Csaszar denied sexual contact with any child or adult in the notes. A 16-year-old boy denied there was a sexual relationship, but said he felt manipulated and threatened by the priest.
