Ohio this morning executed the Columbus man convicted of killing two strangers on a Belmont County road in 1989.47-year-old Donald Palmer died by lethal injection. He is the second inmate in Ohio to be executed this year and the 46th in the past decade. Prosecutors say Palmer was in the area to confront and possibly rob a man who had dated his ex-wife.
