State Fair Posts Sixth Consecutive Yearly Profit

Public records show the Ohio State Fair made a 400 thousand dollar profit this year. It's the sixth straight year the fair turned a profit. Fair officials say higher revenue from ticket sales, entry fees and attractions this year made up for lower revenue from sponsorships and entertainment. Total fair revenue through October was 8 million dollars. This year's attendance of nearly 909 thousand was the most ever during a 12-day run.
