State Fair Sets Attendance Record

Ohio State Fair organizers say a record 900 thousand people attended this year's event. The turnout is an increase of more than 6 percent compared to the previous record set in 2004, the first year that the event lasted 12 days instead of 17. Spending on food and beverages increased by 10 percent over last year, while spending on midway rides went up 17 percent.
