State: Fertilizer Spill Poses No Public Threat

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency says Monday's fertilizer spill at Evening and Morning streets in Sunbury poses no threat to the public. EPA officials say 300 gallons of ammonium polyphosphate solution spilled into a storm drain and ended up in a stream leading to the Hoover Reservoir. The agency says a flatbed truck carrying the fertilizer for Delaware County-based agriculture company OhiGro hit a pothole.
