State Helps Pay Costs Of Funerals Of Three Rhoden Family Members

The Ohio Attorney General's Office has approved 22 thousand 500 dollars to help pay for the funerals of three Pike County siblings who were among eight family members slain earlier this year. The Ohio Victims of Crime Compensation Program approved the maximum 75 hundred dollars each for funeral costs for 20-year-old Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden, 19-year-old Hanna Rhoden and 16-year-old Christopher Rhoden Junior. The Attorney General's Office fund already paid 7 thousand 328 dollars to help cover the costs of a separate funeral for 20-year-old Hannah Gilley, Frankie Rhoden's fiancée, who also died in the shootings. Costs of the investigation continue to rise, with the Pike County Sheriff's Office spending more than 130 thousand dollars to break down, move and store evidence. The April 22 killings remain unsolved.
