State income tax debate continues

Columbus, OH – The fate of this year's 4.2% state income tax cut remains in legislative limbo. The Ohio House has approved a two-year delay, but a key swing group of Republicans who control the Ohio Senate say they won't go along, unless they get changes in the way construction projects are handled at state universities. Minority Senate Democrats insist they won't go along with that. The impasse was obvious Monday as the Senate Finance Committee held a hearing on proposed construction reforms. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
