State Investigating Owner Of Local Exotic Animal Store

wcpo.com

The Ohio Department of Agriculture is investigating a Columbus pet store owner after he brought several reptiles to a daycare center. State agents say nearly a dozen large snakes were seized last week from Captive Born Reptiles on Morse Road and the owner's Pickerington home. The state says Terry Wilkins lacked permits for the reptiles.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
