State: Local Birds Killed Intentionally

State wildlife officials say the deaths of more than four-dozen ducks and geese near a pond at a northeast Columbus residential complex were intentional. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources say the birds were poisoned by tainted food scattered around the pond at the Island Club Apartments off Bethel Road. Officials say they lack a motive and suspects.
