State To Study Drug Prevention Education In Schools

State leaders say a committee of nearly two-dozen experts will study drug-use prevention education in schools, with orders to report back in three months. The committee will also issue recommendations for putting age-appropriate drug education in schools in every grade.The committee includes lawmakers, treatment providers, law enforcement officials and educators. It will hold meetings around the state to see what kind of education schools currently employ.
