State Trying To Close Nursing Home

The Ohio Attorney General's office is working to close a Zanesville nursing home after an investigation found evidence of patient neglect. Ohio Department of Heath inspections also found substandard care at the 100-bed Autumn Healthcare nursing home. The department has recommended the federal government cease Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. State investigators installed hidden cameras in multiple patients' rooms. The license of Autumn Healthcare will be revoked in 60 days. A criminal investigation continues. The facility declined comment.
